The scheme aims to provide financial support to farmers for 16 items of vegetables and fruits in the event of decline in prices. The difference in price from the bench mark price fixed for each item will be provided as agriculture incentive price to farmers. An amount of Rs.1405.00 lakh is set apart for this scheme.
